Cosmin has over a decade of experience in structuring and originating transactions in the structured finance space. Led rounds for private and publicly traded companies across a variety of industries, including tech, biotechnology, & DTC with 4 successful IPOs (3 NASDAQ, 1 NYSE). Previously co-founded GenCap Management, & currently BIG with Alexander. Cosmin is a graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and Emory University.
Alexander Dillon
Co-Founder, Managing Partner
With a wealth of expertise in crafting and initiating deals within the lending and structured finance sectors, Alex has successfully financed both private enterprises and publicly traded corporations spanning diverse sectors such as technology, biotechnology, and direct-to-consumer markets. He co-founded GenCap Management and BIG with Cosmin. Alexander earned his bachelor degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Matthew Turlip
President, COO
Matthew is responsible for the operations, procedures and compliance efforts at BIG. Matthew Turlip has over ten years of experience in private investments, with a specific focus on research, structuring, & due diligence Additionally, he's recognized for his research & entrepreneurial efforts in real estate & hospitality. Matthew is a graduate of NYU's Stern School of Business, where he was an All-American Track and Field Athlete.
Andrew Ramocki
Senior Underwriting Advisor
Andrew advises BIG across departments with regards to portfolio risk, data intelligence & underwriting efforts. Andrew brings over a decade of experience managing a $100M+ portfolio at Forward Financing, & FORA Financial while helping solve complex problems with data based thinking. Andrew is a graduate of Rhode Island College in Providence, RI.
Marcus Dominguez
Director of Partnerships
Marcus manages the entire gamut of ISO relations from negotiating the advances with brokers to reviewing their performance, & cultivates a culture of collaboration with partners. Marcus's passion for forging meaningful connections & his unwavering dedication to driving results make him an invaluable asset to the firm. Marcus graduated from The University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science and remains passionate about health and fitness.
Jacob Anderson
Associate - Underwriting
Jacob works in our underwriting department, across risk, analytics and pricing. Jacob is passionate about data analysis and management, and financial analysis. Prior to BIG, he underwrote for Spartan Capital. Jacob graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Rider University where he was a D1 athlete (wrestling).
Matthew Serkin
Associate - Underwriting
Matthew works in our underwriting department, contributing across risk, analytics, and pricing. He brings a strong foundation in finance and a detail-oriented approach to underwriting. Before joining BIG, Matthew underwrote for Spartan Capital, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis and risk assessment. Matthew graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers Business School.
Kevin Xie
Associate - Processing
Kevin works in our processing department, possessing a foundation in operations and processing. Previously a processor at Velocity Capital Group, Kevin has a great understanding of internal operations and client servicing. With a passion for tech, Kevin possesses a certification in CompTIA A+ for IT Support and a Data Analytics certification from Columbia. Kevin graduated in History from Hunter College.
